Three ways to stop losing missed calls

  1. Text back within a minute. Set up an automatic text to every missed call: "Sorry we missed you, this is Mike from Harbor Haul. What can we help with?" Most callers reply to a text faster than they wait for a call back.
  2. Let people book without calling. A "Book online" button on your website and Google profile catches the people who search at 9 PM, when nobody answers the phone.
  3. Answer every call, even on a job. A trained receptionist or an AI receptionist picks up, gets the job details and books the visit while your hands are full.

How the math works

Calls per week × 4.33 weeks = calls a month. Of those, the share you miss, then the share of missed callers who go elsewhere, gives lost callers. Lost callers × your booking rate = lost jobs, and lost jobs × average job value = lost revenue. Trade presets are rough starting points, not industry data. Change any number to match your business.
